Norma Quesada has been a member of our group since 2008. Attending most home games, as well as many away games, she poured her huge heart into supporting the Quakes and helping our group. Humble, maybe too humble, she never liked the attention, even a “Thank You” for the enormous amount of invaluable work she was doing for us would make her blush. While she was always reserved with her words, her actions spoke louder than a packed stadium on a derby day. In addition to being such a loyal member of SJU, Norma was a loving daughter, sister and aunt, a dedicated member of her church and local community. Her talent for cooking and baking highlighted many parties that she helped organize. Norma left us, left an indescribable pain in all the hearts that she touched, but, above it all, she left behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who had the honor to know her. Norma and her father, Don Francisco, will now sing together again, just like they did at every game, representing the group and the team that they loved.
